CLARENCE HILES

Irishman Clarence Hiles is managing director of Caribbean Mortgage Services and has been in the mortgage industry for almost 35 years. He has worked for a number of UK financial institutions before moving to Barbados in 1995 where he worked in banking, corporate finance and real estate before setting up the mortgage brokerage, the first of its kind in Barbados. He has wide experience in banking, real estate, publishing, property development, marketing and financial services. He is also a co-owner of Hiltop Publications Ltd. and the editor of Caribbean Property Magazine. He has written many articles on real estate, and finance, and has traveled the region extensively.
